Located on the backdrop of the beautiful South Prairie Creek between Orting and South Prairie is the home of the VFW 969 Rec Park.  Our beautiful Rec Park is open annually from May 1 to September 30 and features both Recreation Vehicle (RV) spaces with power and water hookups or Tent camping in our grassy area.

The park has many amenities such as sand filled volleyball court, child’s play area, baseball field, large community fire pit, and a community house/meeting facility which include paid laundry, clean bathrooms with showers, and a dining area.

Throughout the season there are several social activities including breakfast every Saturday and Sunday from 0800 - 1100. 

RV Rates

• VFW members, auxiliary, active duty military and military organizations with reciprical agreements: $500 per month or $30 per day
• Civilian Rates:  $50 per day.  Limited to a max stay of seven days.

Tent Rates:

•  $20 per day
